Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor. Her most well-known role is her role as Jane Seymour, the young female who becomes the third queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem was 9 when she began acting at the Icelandic National Theater. As a child actress, she was a part of various plays, broadcast on radio and television in her native Iceland. Briem moved in London at the age of 16 years old and participated in a play production that was staged at the New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem got a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19. Over the next three years she attended the academy, earning diplomas in drama and an award called the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. He participated in many plays during his time at RADA and was in plays such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House, written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
